    • first-time applicants will be invited to screening interviews
    • please be thorough in compiling your application materials
    • Sherwood will convene an information meeting (separate from mentoring sessions).
  • Fall SIEs - you should share data from last semester with your mentor; interpret these together; set goals for this semester.
  • Spring Evaluations - Aim to schedule by mid-Feburary
    • "Observations and evaluation must be complete, filed in the English Office for the program director to sign (as Departmental Evaluation Committee Chair designee) by the first Friday in March." (3/3/17)
    • Mentees submit materials to comprise your evaluation file in Spring. (Evaluation materials are due the last Friday in February (2/24/17).Your file should include an updated vita, syllabi for the courses you taught, copies of at least three, signed observation reports (2 Fall and 1 Spring), Fall student evaluation results, and optional supporting materials. (If you are a second year TA / Instructor, you may also choose to include the SIE data from last spring; however, it is not required by our procedure.)
